Snickerdoodles
1 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 cup flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 Tbsp sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
Heat oven to 400. Mix shortening, sugar and eggs. Add in dry ingredients and mix. Shape dough into 1 inch balls and dip into mixed cinnamon and sugar. Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes. These cookies will puff up and then flatten out.
